Tic tac tic tac, little clocks - little human personalities, reminding you of a time and being time themselves.
Combining the ART of time in corrosion and erosion of the things that became useless for us and the ART of her gifted hands she creates these masterpieces that hold your breath and make your eyes wander through those surfaces over and over again for hours. And it makes you think about time, it makes you feel the time. It makes you dream of the unknown time and space. It brings you to the very begining - the time when these particles of metal were entangled in minerals in the body of their Mother Earth...
It makes you feel human.

the fact that you have managed to make me see something different about my OWN work says even more about how artistic and creative YOU are. I am so happy you have started this blog, and very humbled to be included here. Thank you Vilte! Here's to the wonderful world of blogging and all the great people that are out there connecting!
don't be humble :) I just wish so many more people would see your art and appreciate it in the way it should be appreciated. And I am glad you saw soething new about your work from my post.. Yep, blogging :) Still feeling a bit unsure, strange, but good :)
Welcome to "blogland".
It's wonderful to read your description of Paula's art. I don't have one of her clocks, but I see what you wrote in the piece of art made with one of her railroad plates that's hanging in my home.
I love Paula's clocks. Her life is extremely interesting, too. They reflect each other, I'd say, and I love your work, too, Vilte.
