There are times in life when you feel a need for a new skin because you’ve outgrown the old one… I was feeling that my old website was becoming too tight for me in some places and too worn out in others. I wanted something else I couldn’t put in words what exactly.
I was chatting with my friend Ramune and we touched this topic about website when she just started giving me feedback on a way I present my work. And it was it! The concept of presenting my work in a new website! She said my works had stories in them, my photos of my works were a glimpse of those stories and I put things into words well enough – so why don’t I make this a focus of the concept to present my works on a website? The minute she said that I knew she just put my feelings about the website into right words – it was exactly what I wanted but couldn’t define. I needed to hear how someone else sees, feels me… to understand what I need myself.
Ramune even started sketching – finding a place for the photo and a place for the thoughts about the work in the photo. She said it must be like a magazine – you would always want to come back, look and read it over again.
When I finally knew more or less what I want it was the time for the designer to develop this idea and put it to life. I might have sounded weird asking to do whatever he wants just find a design for my wild side and for the subtle, elegant side to go together side by side. Which, I think, he did perfectly :) He built a very sensual mirror of my world. I hope you can feel it, sense it, looking at every photo and reading the fragments of the thoughts echoing the felt object and the photo. I hope you can enjoy.
And my most sincere thanks goes to this wonderful talented artistic team of brother and sister who helped me refine the “skin” I have today in this virtual world!

Kartais ateina laikas išsinerti iš senos nusidėvėjusios odos. Būtent toks laikas pribrendo mano tinklapiui…
Įdomu, jog kartais reikia, kad kitas žmogus papasakotų tau apie tave patį, kad suprastum, ko iš tikro nori ir ko tau reikia. Esu be galo dėkinga Ramunei, kuri atspindėjo mane, padėjo man susivokti ir išvystyti visą mano darbų pateikimo internete koncepciją. Man patinka, kai žmonės žvelgia giliau, moka skaityti istorijas net paprasčiausiuose dalykuose, man patinka žmonės, kurie jaučia.
Esu dėkinga Tomui, kuris išvystė visą šią tinklapio koncepciją į regimą rezultatą, kitaip tariant – sukūrė man naują odą virtualiame pasaulyje.
